ETUDE HOUSE GOLDEN RATIO
As promised, I finally have the time to do a review on the Etude House's Golden Ratio and Miss Tangerine Cream Choux Blusher. Well, these aren't Etude House's newest line of cosmetics but I think it is quite difficult to find a blog review on these two items seeing that they aren't being raved much.
Golden Ratio No.1 in GOLD
Golden Ratio is actually a contour maker compact whereby it is a 3-in-1 kinda thing! <3 It contains a highlighter, blusher and bronzer. I think this compact would be great for travelling as you don't have to pack all the different things which end up taking up your the space of your cosmetic pouch.
It comes with a brush which is sooooo neat! =)
So the brown looking powder is the bronzer. The white coloured powder with the word Golden Ratio imprinted on it is its amazing highligher and the peach coloured powder is the blusher.
Top: Bronzer. Followed by Blusher and Highlighter.
After using it and now swatching it for you guys.. I love this item. The reason being the colours are NOT so pigmented. They are actually quite light. And I love my makeup to be natural therefore, light colours are more to my thing. The not-so-nice thing about this compact would its shimmer. I LOVE shimmer but i think the shimmer is more pigmented compared to its colour therefore overtaking the functions of the bronzer and blusher. The shimmer is not just on the highlighter alone but on the blusher and bronzer as well. Shimmer can make your face appear lovely because it creates a glow but overdosing on shimmer could make a person with oily skin to appear more oily. =( And sadly, i have oily skin. Really oily skin. =/
MISS TANGERINE IN NO.1 ORANGE
The back of the tube in korean alphabets/words.
I love peach/orange blusher since it's currently the IN colour for koreans. I haven't tried cream blusher before and I thought, hey, why not? I got this item for only RM9.90 since it was on clearance. I think this probably wouldn't be on the shelves anymore once it is sold out.
No.1
Swatch.
The colour for this blusher is really pigmented and it does stay true to what the colour is which is ORANGE. I think a swatch a bit too much on my wrist but..
After spreading it out, it looks quite alright. =) The blusher would be a great investment since it is so pigmented. All you need is just a tiny sand size to develop a nice healthy blush on your cheeks. 1/3 of what i swatch would probably be enough on the cheeks but if not, it's really build-able What i did in spreading out the colour on my wrist is by rubbing. But the method to be used on the cheeks should be in a dabbing or gentle patting with fingers.
That's it folks! :D I am not too sure on what I'll be doing for the next post but i am excited to do a review on the Rachel K CC Cream and the Missha's Perfect Cover BB cream. Stay tuned! =)
